Beaded Jewelry Design Workshop
Kids and adults of ALL AGES welcome and encouraged! Design your own jewelry using leather cord and wooden beads of various shapes and colors that will result in a handmade piece of wearable art.
Vision Board / Journal-Making Using Collage
Use the fresh start of a new school year as a time of reflection for what you’d like to do, see and make in the coming months. Create a mixed-media collage that can serve as an eye-catching vision board or a journal for your creative endeavors.
Mindful Movement
Move your body creatively with movement led by a local, experienced dance instructor. Mats provided. All levels are welcome and encouraged.
Film Screening of Abstract: The Art of Design
Enjoy a viewing of Design for Play – an Abstract: the Art of Design episode (45 minutes) featuring toy company tools and objects designed to inspire kids (and adults) to play creatively. This Netflix produced, visually rich documentary series earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Graphic Design and Art Direction.

Explore The Many Lives of Andrew Young exhibition, featuring photos and text outlining the life and work of Ambassador Young, who started his career as a preacher in Beachton, Georgia.
