Announcing the Bardlings’ 2025 production: a one-hour adaptation of Twelfth Night, playing at Cascades Park May 10-11, 2025!
The Bardlings, the junior acting company of the Southern Shakespeare Company, is a by-audition-only theatre training program for talented, up-and-coming young actors (rising grades 6-12). Actors accepted into the Bardlings program receive focused coaching, classical training, and exclusive learning opportunities— including performing with the troupe at the Southern Shakespeare Festival. When:
> August 23rd at 6:00 – 7:30 PM
> August 24th at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
How:
> Prepare a one-minute monologue. Shakespeare or classical monologues are encouraged, but not required.
> Be ready to provide essential conflicts and regular features of your schedule for 2024-2025, as well as guardian contact information.
