Llama Hike at Leon County Greenway Trails

Join Redemptive Love Farm at a public greenway in Leon County for a unique & memorable hiking experience! Our llamas can carry your water, snacks, lunch, chair and other items while our guide tells you all about llamas during this unique hike! Enjoy llamas and nature alike!
When: August 10th – Sept 17th either morning 9-11am or evening 5-7pm (cooler parts of the day)
Where: Greenways in Leon County (we will notify hike participants where to meet in an email 4 days prior)
Cost: $45 per person to hike with your own llama pack buddy
$15 to participate on hike but without a llama
$15 add-on Charcuterie-style picnic meal
Age: This activity is best-suited for adults and llama-loving children 11-17 years old
We do allow younger children to accompany but they can share a llama with adult
Number of Hikers: Minimum 5 hikers with llamas and Maximum of 8 hikers with llamas
What to expect: Wear comfy closed-toed shoes and comfy clothes, we recommend bug spray and/or sunscreen since we will be outdoors and in woodsy areas. When you arrive at chosen greenway meeting location we will go over proper llama handling technique. We will help you load up your llama’s bag with your stuff and they will carry it for you the entire hike. While we are hiking with the llamas our guide will tell you all about llamas, their history, diet, care, personality and more! There will be plenty of time for bonding, selfies and snuggles with your llama pack buddy while we enjoy the outdoors! We will end with a llama picnic close to the parking lot, you are welcome to stay for llama picnic with your own lunch or an add-on lunch we bring!
