Panacea Kids Fishing Derby

Bring the kids out for a day of fishing, fun, and family memories on Saturday, August 29!
Fish anywhere in Wakulla or Franklin County during the day, then head to Woolley Park in Panacea between 12:00–2:00 PM for check-in and weigh-in.
Here’s what to look forward to:
No pre-registration required
Trophies & prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
Free hot dogs, drinks, and snacks
The first 150 kids to complete the educational booths or weigh in a fish will receive a FREE rod & reel and event T-shirt!
Whether it’s their first fish or their biggest catch yet, this is a great way to get kids outdoors and hooked on fishing.

• Fishing hours are from daylight Saturday morning until the weigh in closes at 2pm. You must be in line with your fish by 2pm.
• Check in at Woolley Park - Weigh in will be open from 12-2.
• In order to receive your rod & reel and shirt you must visit and complete all educational booths and have your card stamped – OR you must weigh in a fish.
• If you catch a fish, the weigh in will be open from 12-2. Even if you don’t catch a fish, you can still participate.
• Trophies and Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded in each fish category immediately after the weigh in ends.
• Hot Dogs, drinks and snacks will be provided at no charge.
