September through April we invite you to join us for a FREE, fun, and family-friendly hands-on science event. All ages are welcome (but Science Night is especially for those aged 5-10). Every month’s Science Night will explore a different, exciting scientific topic through experiments or demonstrations, an interactive Question Answer session with an expert guest and a hands-on activity (with household items). Plan for the activity to last about 45 minutes. And as an added bonus, the Collins Library staff is picking the best reads and media to complement our Science Night topic for you to check out to continue exploring on your own! February Theme: Dinosaurs Journey back millions of years to the time of the dinosaurs! These creatures that once roamed the Earth left lots behind. We’ll dig in to learn how dinos were discovered and how they affected our planet in ways we still see today!
