Storytime in the Gardens at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park

Meet us at the Visitor Center Pavilion next to the Gardens entrance for a spooky story about invasive plants written by park volunteer Nancy M! We'll tell the tale of the horrible Count Carl Ardisia and his misdeeds, then teach you how to spot the red-berried menace coral ardisia.

The storytime will be followed by a short walk where you'll learn more about the plants we want to protect at Maclay Gardens.

We recommend bringing a blanket or chair for sitting in the grass. Please contact the ranger station at (850) 487-4556 for additional information and to sign up.
