A total of 43 high school robotics teams from Florida and beyond will converge in Tallahassee to showcase their engineering prowess, teamwork, and passion for technology as they compete in this year’s thrilling game, "REEFSCAPE."
What is the FIRST Robotics Competition?
Dubbed the “Ultimate Sport for the Mind,” the FIRST Robotics Competition combines the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology. Teams of students, mentors, and volunteers work together to design and build robots to tackle unique challenges in a high-energy, themed competition.
About the 2025 Game: "REEFSCAPE"
This year’s game, "REEFSCAPE," dives into the challenges of underwater ecosystems. In this vibrant, ocean-themed competition, robots must navigate simulated underwater environments, collect "coral" pieces, and strategically place them to rebuild reefs. Teams will work together in alliances, combining strategic planning, precision engineering, and real-time problem-solving to complete their tasks and score points.
Attendees will witness incredible student-built robots in action, enjoy STEM-related activities, and experience the energy and creativity of the next generation of innovators.
Why Attend?
- Capture competitive robot play pictures and video
