Family & Community Learning (FCL) is an intergenerational model for hands-on family engagement designed to support science and literacy development among children and families.
Join us on March 25 and 27 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM for the Everyday Literacy FCL. This is a two session event that engages families in active, hands-on learning experiences featuring the PBS KIDS program MOLLY OF DENALI: The Big Gathering™. These workshop sessions are designed for families with kids ages 5-8 (and older siblings). The workshops use creative play and exploration to introduce kids and grown-ups to digital and tangible tools that can be used to develop knowledge, practices and perspectives.
Lunch is included at this free event. Each family will take home a book as well!
Everyone is encouraged to sign up for both dates as there will be different activities that build on the same lesson.
Please sign up for the number of people in your group that are attending.
