Join us at the Florida Historic Capitol Museum on Friday, April 18, from 10 AM - 2 PM for Two Lights for Tomorrow, a nationwide program to kick-off the commemoration of America’s 250th and celebrate the legendary ride of Paul Revere, April 18, 1775.

Embark on your journey on the Historic Capitol Steps where larger-than-life lanterns will light your way. Then, gallop through our historic halls following a new StoryWalk® and audiobook installation featuring Paul Revere’s Ride by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow with illustrations by Ted Rand. Guided readings will be held at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Enjoy free snacks and craft activities with community partners from the Florida Division of Historical Resources and WFSU.

The StoryWalk® is recommended for early readers and young history enthusiasts aged 3 – 10, and the illustrations and program activities can be enjoyed by all.

Program is FREE and open to the public.
