Starting this June, we’re kicking off a fun new summer K–5 program inspired by our exhibition Women Among Us! On the first Saturday of each month this summer, we’ll celebrate the work of female artists through stories and hands-on art activities the whole family can enjoy. Join us on Saturday, June 7 at 12 PM as we read Dancing Through Fields of Color, a story about the artist Helen Frankenthaler and her journey as an artist. After story time, kids and parents will work together with MoFA staff to create art inspired by the story. After all the fun, stick around for a guided tour of our exhibits and turn your afternoon into a full family day at the museum. Parking will be available for free in the Call Street Garage. We look forward to seeing you and your family!
Located in the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts. Parking will be available in the Call Street Garage during the event.
