What You Always Wanted to Know about Archaeology but were Afraid to Ask.

Panhandle Archaeological Society at Tallahassee (PAST) invites curious people for a fun evening of questions and answers with a panel of professional archaeologists. So, if someone once told you that Indiana Jones’s drink of choice to reinforce his courage is a Rolling Rock you can finally fact-check them.
This informal and relaxed get-together will kick off on Tuesday, September 9 with snacks, non-alcoholic and adult beverages served between 5 P.M. and 7 P.M. at Jubilee Cottage, Goodwood Museum and Gardens, 1600 Miccosukee Road in Tallahassee. Also, between 5 P.M. and 7 P.M. archaeologists will be on hand to identify your artifacts that were found on private land. You may even be the winner of one of several archaeologically themed door prizes. From 7 until 8:30 you will have an opportunity to “stump the chumps” with your questions.

The event is free and open to the public.
