Similar to last year, the 2026 Tallahassee Chess Fest will include various free events on Friday and Saturday, including a movie and activities (with 2 invited grandmasters).There will be demonstrations and hands-on activities designed to teach, challenge, and entertain chess lovers of all ages/skill levels, Free-Play and more!

All Day : Open Play & Activites
10 AM : Meet and Greet with the Grandmasters
10:30 AM – 12 PM : Simul for Registered Players
1 PM – 3:30 PM : Grandmaster Showdown
3:45 – 4:30 PM : Pop-Up Experiences
4:45 – 6:15 PM : Grandmaster Lectures
