Storytime Studio: Maybe Something Beautiful

  • When: Saturday, March 7, 2026, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Location: FSU Museum of Fine Arts, 530 West Call St, 250 Fine Arts Building, Tallahassee, FL
  • Cost: Free

We’re welcoming back our monthly kids' event, Storytime Studio! On March 7, from 10am to 12pm, we will be hosting a children's book reading of “Maybe Something Beautiful”, followed by a collaborative collage craft session in the museum.

“Maybe Something Beautiful” was written by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell and was illustrated by Rafael López. The book is based on the Urban Art Trail in San Diego, California, and reveals how art can transform a community space.

During this reading and craft activity, kids and parents will have a chance to connect with one of our current exhibitions, “Akimbo” by Zoë Charlton, which brings together personal history and collective memory to reflect on how identity is shaped by place.

This event will be geared to our younger artists, but all ages are welcome to attend. All materials will be provided, and free parking will be available in the Call Street Garage.
