Join us Friday, May 29th for a fun community contra dance! Our very own Vicki Morrison will be calling the dances to live tunes by The Flathead String Band.
Contra dancing is an upbeat, beginner-friendly American social dance for all ages. It shares many moves with square dancing (such as swing your partner and do-si-do) and is danced in long lines to live music. The bands and callers vary each night. No dance experience is needed and you don’t need to bring a partner. Those new to contra dancing are strongly encouraged to come by 7:15 when a Beginner Lesson will be taught, and as dances are taught in more detail early in the evening. Wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes.

Admission cost: $10 for Adults, $9 Seniors over 50, $6 for Students, Free for Kids under 12. Admission is payable by cash, check, or card at the door. First-timers get in to your 2nd dance free!
