While you're here, explore our newest exhibit, The American Ideal: Revolutionary Roots in the Florida Frontier, a fascinating look at how the founding ideals that shaped this country also shaped North Florida. From the Declaration of Independence to Florida's path to statehood, there's more Big Bend in America's story than you might think.
