If sewing machines seem like magic, we've got the class for you! Learn the basics of the machine and sew a drawstring bag.
This introductory sewing class will take you from turning on the machine to sewing your first project. You'll get to know the parts of the machine, how it functions, how to use it, and how to put that knowledge to use.
We have sewing machines at the shop, but let us know if you'd like to bring your own.
No experience necessary!
Goals for this class:
Understand parts of the sewing machine
Understand how to troubleshoot common issues when they arise
