Maclay Scottish Tartan Day

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us for a celebration of the Maclay family's Scottish heritage on world Tartan Day! At the event, we'll be revealing the tartan flag and banner of the Maclay family and fly them for the first time at the park. Our friends at the St. Andrew Society of Tallahassee and Tallahassee Pipes are helping to make this a memorable day with traditional Scottish tartan ceremony elements and bagpipe musicians.

Don't forget to wear your plaid!

Regular park admission fees apply ($6/vehicle), but garden entry fees are waived during the event.
